The facility is home to two beautifully designed 18-hole courses. The historic Pelham Bay, with its wide, generous fairways, offers a more forgiving and classic layout, making it a perfect introduction for new players. Its sister course, Split Rock, stands as a true championship test. With its hilly terrain, tight, tree-lined fairways, and strategic bunkers, it challenges even the most seasoned golfers. Split Rock boasts a slope rating of 129 and a course rating of 70.0, while Pelham Bay holds a slope of 124 and a rating of 70.7. The Split Rock course and the iconic clubhouse were built as part of a significant Works Progress Administration (WPA) project during the Great Depression. The property also carries the weight of history as the site of the Battle of Pell’s Point from the American Revolutionary War. The staff, particularly Dean, Rocco, Kristin and Jeanine, were on top of it! They were super attentive to us as organizers (many of us never played golf let alone hosted s tournament) and to all the details that went into a successful outing. The food was delicious too! “I have attended many functions and events here at this venue and they NEVER disappoint! The setting is so beautiful and the service and food is always top notch! Most recently I attended the freestyle event Friday June 20th. It was AWESOME!! The DJ was FANTASTIC, the food was delicious and the service was above and beyond as always! Rocco and Albert were wonderful! Rocco did an Amazing job on the floor making sure to accommodate guests requests throughout the evening. We danced all night and had a blast! Such a fun night! They had a great turnout so I’m hoping they’ll do it again soon! Highly recommend this place you won’t regret it!”

Lovely layouts

“I have played many courses in this area but none are as nice as these two. very easy to get a tee time a very reasonable greens fees..especially for seniors. the courses are well maintained and the fairways are tree lined like all the more mature courses such as these. the layout on both of the courses are great and even the high handicapper will have fun playing either one. i love these courses so much i informed my fellow golfers in my steady foursome that these are the only courses i want to play here in westchester…they are that nice and the atmosphere is wonderful with more af a private country club feel. if you play golf make this your next stop and you wont be sorry. best kept secret in nyc because it borders westchester on the coast of long island sound”
